archpad-backup ("the app") is a personal backup tool operated by the owner of this GitHub account ("the operator"). It serves one user: the operator.
The app requests the Google Drive scope drive.file. With this scope it can only create and manage files that it created itself; it cannot see any other files in the operator's Google Drive.
Files are encrypted on the operator's device before being uploaded. The encryption key never leaves the operator's control and is not stored with the data. Backups are stored only in the operator's own Google Drive.
No data is collected, analyzed, shared, sold, or transmitted to anyone. The app contains no analytics and no tracking.
Backups are retained according to the operator's own retention policy. The app's access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account's third-party access settings, which immediately removes it.
This app is a private, single-user tool. For questions, use the support email configured on the app's OAuth consent screen.
